I'm trying to figure out a future for this site. There seems to be room to write about various aspects of travel, such as getting ready, what to bring, and places to see. There's probably also advice on how to cure jet lag. Right now I'm conducting research. I got hit really hard yesterday with it and haven't been able to get my schedule back quite yet. I've never been much of a person to fall asleep on the spot -- the past two days have brought just that. Oh, and I'm bored already. You all probably know that already.

My two cents: Don't try to duplicate what others are already doing. I think for example that travelindependent.info currently has the best website regarding getting ready, what to pack, how to pack etc.. So I'd concentrate on the things that are unique. I.e. your experiences. I'm not saying that you shouldn't give advice regarding preparations. I just wouldn't make it a big part of the site - rather link to a site that is already doing a good job about it.
