Publishing a book of photos

Over the past few days I have been sorting, re-sorting and then sorting again. I've been going over nearly 10,000 photos taken over the past 3 years of travels. When you take that many photos you get some really great shots, but you also end up with some puzzlers that have you scratching your head.

What's the challenge in that?

Having just completed my ninth cross-pacific flight, the little voice in my head that asks me why I continue do this seems to be getting louder and louder. It asked me why I continually force myself to endure such travel torture. Why I can’t go to Mexico just like all the Spring Breakers.

The Traveling Experience

I woke up this morning to a bright sunshine peaking through the window blinds. I was ready for another relaxing day. I was tired from the long travels we had done the previous day and wanted to stretch my legs. My eyes squinted from the reflection on the white powdery ground. The air was crisp and clear. The familiar tuk-tuk honks and Taxis could not be heard. This place was different from Bangkok, Krabi, Koh Samui and Lao. It was a bit colder, it was a bit quieter and it had a sense of familiarity.

The Plans Are Almost Set

A trip that will take Chris and me half way around the world, through 3 countries, down several rivers and through a variety of mountain sides and rice fields requires a little pre-trip planning. It requires special attention especially if we want to accomplish this task in just over 3 weeks time.
